Remedial Equipment Exercise Classes

(4 max in class and taken by a professional physiotherapist)

This class requires individual assessment and reassessment to address the rehabilitation and conditioning required around physical issues. The program is specific to the client and focuses on gentle strengthening, balance, postural control, breathing and flexibility. It is suitable for all ages and can help with spinal pain, pre-post surgery, incontinence, osteoporosis, ante natal and postnatal exercise and relaxation. Flexibility and stability decreases the risk of injury, when playing sport such as golf or tennis.

The class may incorporate exercises on the mat, on a fit ball, foam roller, balance equipment, therabands, Pilates reformer and cadillac equipment ( Pilates informed exercises).
The equipment classes can be one-on-one or semi-private with up to four in a class. It is recommended to invest in 10 sessions as a minimum to give the muscles and connective tissues time to make structural changes and improve neuromotor programming associated with repetitive exercise.

Please bring gym clothes, towel, socks, water bottle.
Health fund rebates apply (Clincial Assessment and Periodic Reassessment necessary to satisfy conditions)
