Aakansha Saraf
Aakansha graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy from MMDU, India in 2021 and pursued her career in musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, working in both hospital and private practice alongside being a lecturer. She moved to Australia in 2022, completed her Australian Registration exams and has worked in Private Practice since then.
Aakansha combines manual therapy skills and exercise rehabilitation in managing a range of musculoskeletal conditions. She manages a broad patient caseload of spinal and peripheral joint pathologies, soft tissue injuries, headaches, vertigo, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation and all disabilities (NDIS).
She has special interests in Temporo-mandibular joint disorders, Cervicogenic headaches, ACL rehabilitation, Pilates, Yoga and Pulmonary rehabilitation. Her academic background includes publications and a book on ‘Blood Flow Restriction Training’. She is passionate about evidence-based practice. Aakansha strongly believes that no matter what the injury is, “it’s a better late than never” approach that can help. Individualised and tailor-based treatment approach is the focus.
Outside of work, she likes to travel and read books.
