About Jordan

Meet Jordan

Jordan Press is the owner of Ferry Rd Physio and Focus on Physio. He holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, both completed on the Gold Coast, and is an ASCA Level 1 strength and conditioning coach. He has been a physiotherapist for 7 years.

His areas of interest include jaw, neck and headache conditions, knee rehabilitation, back pain, sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. His approach combines evidence-based techniques with personalised care, and starts with finding the cause of the problem.

Jordan's passion for physiotherapy comes from his own injuries as a rugby league player. He played for 22 years, including NSW Country Under 18s, and went through four knee surgeries (meniscus and ACL tears) and a shoulder stabilisation after multiple dislocations. He came back to play A-grade, so he knows what a long recovery feels like and how much difference a clear plan makes.

He works closely with the students at Keebra Park State High School, where his rugby league experience gives him insight into their performance on and off the field. Jordan still plays rugby league locally for the Mudgeeraba Redbacks, and spends weekends at the beach with his young family.
